4th Continental Light Dragoons, 1779

Here's my latest original. It was inspired by a pose in a Don Troiani study of a different dragoon regiment. The head is from Hornet and the pistol is a Shenandoah conversion.

Thanks for looking!

Jason, Awesome job on the dragoon. I really like the slender period look you gave him. I never would have thought to take a Shenandoah pistol and make a flintlock from it. It's great to see your work continue to evolve. I can't wait to see your highlander.~Gary

Thanks Gary. I had to do alot of carving and filling to get it to look "right". There was a point where I thought maybe scratching would have been easier.

Hello Jason,

Just came back from holiday to Italy and again (and fast) a new figure added on your blog
great looking figure!
I recently bought a Troiani book. I found in a second hand book shop here in Holland. i like the paintings very much. No WWII subject has been done or thought about since a long time. there is so much more to explore..
i now have a 4,5 week holiday at home. Two figures have to be finished before the end of it....I wish i had your tempo...

Thanks Robert Jan! All of "Mr.T's"

Big ol' pile of heads and armatures for the St. Privat project.
