The Battle of Gettysburg started on this date 149 years ago. Next year is the biggie! Hopefully, I can participate in some way and be part of that milestone. The picture is looking towards the 14th Brooklyn monument and the McPherson barn. A popular photographic angle. I must must snapped a shot from this spot a half dozen times over the years. The composition of that scene just makes you grab the camera.

Jason, Great shot. I'm sure I have one somewhere too...surprise. The 150th cycle of events is something we both have a serious interest in taking part. This year four people at work cancelled vacation for the week of the 4th of July. I only hope I'm that lucky next year. I'm going to go ahead an make reservations in the event I luck out and get one of those covetted weeks. ~Gary

It's a tough week for me too. Even though that place will be be mad house next July, I wouldn't mind driving through the battlefield just to see how mad. If it's anything like the Gettysburg filming and the 135th Anniversary that I was part of, it's going to be BAD. Lol

Big ol' pile of heads and armatures for the St. Privat project.
